The Roush Fenway group is blinding the competition lately. With the Cup Series stars peforming at extremely high levels, the organizations drivers in the Craftsman Truck Series want to show everyone that they are just as brilliant.
That group of drivers earned Jack Roush the first 1-2-3 start - for a owner - in Craftsman Truck Series history. At a speed of 181.753 mph Erik Darnell was able to land his No. 99 Roush Fewnay Racing Ford F-150 in the pole spot for Saturday's Mountain Dew 250 at Talladega Superspeedway. |

No we haven't switched our coverage here at HardcoreRaceFans.com to baseball - even though the Philadelphia Phillies are now to one game away from advancing to the National League Championship Series, but that's another story. "Beginning with the revolutionary 'Rainbow Warrior' paint scheme and transitioning into the now iconic 'Fire and Flames' scheme, I knew the 2009 'FireStorm' paint scheme needed to be special," Gordon explained. "Utilizing DuPont's state-of-the-art paint mixtures developed specifically for this project, the idea was to present a classic, yet contemporary look to the car. |

Still with a lot to learn about NASCAR's top series, Aric Almirola will journey down south where he will participate in the Amp Energy 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
He has made two starts at the venue finishing 30th and a 33rd in those two attempts. "The first thing I learned about Talladega is never to make a prediction and always expect the unexpected," said Almirola. "I was okay with my performances in the last two Talladega races and feel if we can avoid the wrecks and mechanical failures, the Army Chevy Impala SS will be running in the lead pack. I am looking to deliver a strong race for our Soldiers." |
