Tuesday afternoon members of the media were treated to lunch at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (LMS) and were served by president and general manager H.A. “Humpy” Wheeler and current Cup Series points leader Jeff Burton.
The two did not serve up a bunch of bologna; instead it was Bruton Smith’s Backyard Billionaire Burgers on the menu in preparation for the Memorial Day Weekend festivities at LMS.
“This recipe makes the most mouth-watering hamburgers you’ve ever tasted and it will add just the right spice to a great Memorial Day Weekend of tailgating at the Coca-Cola 600,” track owner Bruton Smith explained. “This is the only recipe I use when I cook out, and once it gets out, I know I’ll have to turn down franchise opportunities!” Tailgating, good food, good friends and good times are such an American tradition and ones that go hand in hand with NASCAR and the Memorial Day holiday. Tickets are still available for the annual Coca-Cola 600 on May 25th and can be purchased for as low as $39. For more information be sure to visit www.lowesmotorspeedway.com or call 1-800-455-FANS.
