Kyle Busch, on a roll after taking the top spot in Truck Series qualifying earlier in the day, made it two in a row by capturing the pole for Saturday nights All-Star Cup Series Race at Lowe\'s Motor Speedway.
The All Star pole is a career first for Busch, who will be making his third start in the All-Star Race. His two previous starts in the All Star Race were both from the top ten. Jeff Gordon qualified his Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet on the outside pole while Kurt Busch will go off third and Martin Truex, Jr. will start fourth. Twenty one cars took qualifying laps and will start the All-Star Race along with the top two finishers of the Sprint Showdown and one driver will be voted in to the race by the fans. 2008 All-Star Race Lineup 1.
