 Virginia\'s Elliott Sadler cruised around the Lowe\'s Motor Speedway at 185.014 mph to win the pole for the Sprint Showdown at Lowe\'s Motor Speedway on Saturday.
With the top two finihers transferring to the All-Star Race later in the evening, the Sprint Showdown usually provides plenty of excitement and the 2008 version should be no different. Brian Vickers grabbed the outside pole with a speed of 184.786. David Ragan will start third while Vickers teammate A. J. Allmendinger will take the green from outside of row two. Kasey Kahne will go from inside of row eight in the fifteenth starting spot. The Sprint Showdown is scheduled to take the green at 7 p.m. and tickets are still available at the Lowe\'s Motor Speedway ticket office.
