In the final year of his contract with Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) Reed Sorenson is looking to continue his existence at the organization.

Making his NASCAR debut with CGR in 2004, Sorenson has raced in the Cup Series full-time since 2006. In his Cup career he has accumulated five Top-5 and 13 Top-10 finishes.

When asked about his negotiation status Sorenson replied, “We’re working on it right now. “Working on it,” Sorenson repeated.

Sorenson has not had an impressive run with Ganassi, but will it be good enough to land him a extension? Only time will tell.
