Casey Mears will collect a milestone 200th start at the Allstate 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this Sunday.

Indianapolis is the most fitting venue for Mears to record this milestone given his family’s accomplishments there. His uncle Rick Mears is the record holder of the most Indianapolis 500 victories, with four. His father Roger has run in two of the prestigious events.

"It's perfect,” Mears exclaimed. “That place is so important to my family and to me personally. Every time I walk into the track I think about my dad racing in the Indy 500. Then I think about my uncle Rick winning the Indy 500. All of our memories here are good ones. It's just a very special track for me and a very fitting place for the 200th start."
