To the loyal HardcoreRaceFans.com readers I would like to apologize for my brief hiatus from the site over the last two weeks and explain why racing has taken a backseat as of late. My fiancée Courtney and I welcomed our first daughter into this world last Wednesday evening, July 23rd at 7:36 p.m.

Abigail Lee Pennell was born weighing 6 lbs 4 ounces and was 18 inches long. Both mother and daughter are doing well and we are all getting used to life as a new family. Abigail will be sure to wear her homemade "Future Hardcore Race Fan!" onesie once it fits.
