Former Lowe’s Motor Speedway general manager, H.A. “Humpy” Wheeler, announced the creation of The Wheeler Company.

Lead by Humpy as the chairman and his son Howard III “Trip”, The Wheeler Company will focus on motorsports, professional sports and general business.

“We will also work closely with Wheeler Television, my daughter Patti’s company, in a variety of support roles, as well as Velocity” Wheeler said. Wheeler Television is an Emmy award-winning company that does production for major network sports telecasts as well as documentaries and special features.

“One of our goals will be to develop highly unique racing for television and work with clients who have a need for innovation. We will also work with major drivers in assistance with their careers as well as tracks, sanctioning bodies and companies involved in racing,” Wheeler stated.
