On Sunday Hitachi Power Tools will be showcased on the No. 28 Yates Racing Ford Fusion piloted by Travis Kvapil.
This weekend at Auto Club Speedway the No. 28 Ford will present Hitachi’s global “Inspire the Next” brand.
"Our partnership with Hitachi Power Tools has been tremendous," commented Kvapil. "The primary multiple race sponsorship deal that our organization has with Hitachi is very powerful and the race at Fontana will allow us to highlight Hitachi's global branding. I'm looking forward to a successful race weekend at Auto Club Speedway for our No. 28 Hitachi Inspire the Next Ford, and I am honored to represent their company in NASCAR's most elite division." Yates Racing launched their multiple race sponsorship provided by Hitachi at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in July. In addition to the sponsorship being launched at Indy, it was Hitachi’s first endeavor into NASCAR’s top echelon. With three top-10 and four top-15 finishes in the 2008 Sprint Cup season, Hitachi is proud to be affiliated with Yates Racing, and looks forward to debut Hitachi’s global branding at this weekend’s Pepsi 500. "Hitachi Power Tools is proud to sponsor the No. 28 Ford Fusion with Yates Racing and is excited to have Hitachi's global branding featured for the first time as part of our sponsorship with NASCAR" said John Fries of Hitachi Power Tools. "Our sponsorship has helped us to increase exposure for the Hitachi brand and reach NASCAR fans around the country. We are proud to partner with Yates Racing and Travis Kvapil and look forward to an exciting race in Fontana."
