With all of the hype leading to his first start in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Joey Logano did not live up to the expectations that were placed on his young talent. 

Starting the day off in the 40th position, Logano was only able to push ahead eight spots to finish 32nd.

Not happy with how the day turned out, Logano will have to put this behind him and wait until he has another chance.

“Not what I wanted - that’s for sure,” said Logano. “It was a tough one. We tried hard, but it just wasn’t there the whole time. ... We started so far back in the hole trying to get this car good, and we just got close to it [a workable setup] too late.”
