Biffle Moves Ford

Heading to Dover International Speedway, Greg Biffle ventures north in hopes of collecting his second straight victory.

Last weekend he took the top spot for the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Hungry for seconds, Biffle looks to do the same at this weekend’s Camping World RV 400 Presented by AAA.

With high belief in his team to get the job done, Biffle is anxious to battle the Monster Mile on Sunday.

“I can’t wait to get to Dover and I’m sure as soon as that race is over, I’ll be ready to go to Kansas,” Biffle said. “I have complete confidence in my team and after getting Dish Network a win in New Hampshire, we would love to put the 3M Ford Fusion in victory lane sometime soon.”

Biffle has made 12 starts at Dover International Speedway. In those 12 outings Biffle has accumulated one pole start that came in the Best Buy 400 (June 1, 2008), one win, four top-5’s and seven top-10’s.

Piloting the No. 16 3M Ford this weekend, Biffle has catapulted himself to the third spot in the point standings only 30 points out of the lead behind teammate Carl Edwards and Hendrick Motorsports’ Jimmie Johnson.

His lone win at the track came in 2005, but don’t think that Biffle has forgotten how to tame the Monster Mile.

“I’ve run well at Dover in the past and was able to win there in the Cup car in 2005,” Biffle reminisced. “I expect it to be a good race for us. We’re coming together as a team at the right time of the season and I cannot tell you how excited I am for the next nine weeks.”
