Greg Biffle will remain in the driver’s seat of the No. 16 Ford Fusion, anticipating to sign a three-year extension with Roush Fenway Racing.

Withdrawing an international trip, Biffle substituted plans to attend a brake test. He also intends to work out any lingering details on the extension.

"We've basically agreed on everything else," he said on Friday at Michigan International Raceway. "It's just a matter of finding time for everybody to sit down and finish this thing."

Biffle also rejects any rumors that Crown Royal would transfer from Jamie McMurray’s Ford Fusion to his. He assures that 3M will continue to to be his primary sponsor.
