The 2008 NASCAR season is about to get even sweeter for Brad Keselowski as Hendrick Motorsports announced on Monday that it plans to give Keselowski his Sprint Cup Series debut this October at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

To say that the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series season has been kind to Keselowski is an understatement. Driving the No. 88 Navy Chevrolet for JR Motorsports Keselowski has captured his first career pole and two wins (one of which was a career-first).

"We've gotten a glimpse of what Brad is capable of in the Nationwide Series, and that's just scratching the surface," said Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports. Along with competing in the Bank of America 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway, Keselowski is also scheduled to race in the November Sprint Cup Series event at Texas Motor Speedway.

At both of these events Keselowski will attempt to qualify the No. 25 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet. GoDaddy.com has been a leading sponsor with JR Motorsports but the October Sprint Cup Series race at Lowe's Motor Speedway will mark the first time that GoDaddy.com will be the primary sponsor of a Sprint Cup Series machine.

"The Sprint Cup Series has always been a goal, and now it's up to me to take advantage of the opportunity. I have to thank Mr. Hendrick, Dale Jr. and the folks at GoDaddy.com for showing so much faith in me," said Keselowski who currently sits third in the NASCAR Nationwide Series standings behind Clint Bowyer and Carl Edwards.
