Old School Racing and Racers Reunion.com have announced the inaugural Old School Racing-Racers Reunion.com Shootout, featuring many NASCAR notables, is scheduled to take place Friday July 18, 2008 at the Music City Motorplex in Nashville, Tennessee. The .596 paved speedway is located on the Tennessee State Fairgrounds and is hosting the Music City Motorplex 50 years of asphalt racing celebration July 18-20, 2008.

NASCAR legends Harry Gant, Sterling Marlin, Geoff Bodine, Dave Marcis, Jack Ingram, James Hylton, Charlie Glotzbach, Joe Ruttman, Ronnie Thomas, Tommy Houston and Randy LaJoie are all confirmed entrants for this historical event. Many other drivers have shown interest and are expected to enter the race.

Qualifying has been set to begin at 6:30 pm immediately followed by an autograph session with the drivers and the green flag scheduled to wave at 8:30 p.m.
