Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) is now looking for a driver to sit behind the wheel of the No.20 Toyota Camry.
With the departure of Tony Stewart from JGR, JGR officials are looking strongly at the teenage standout Joey Logano. Despite his young age, fellow JGR driver, Denny Hamlin feels that Logano could adjust to the competition of NASCAR’s highest level.
"I think Joey's a guy that could get it quick," Hamlin said. "He's well beyond his age when it comes to experience." With the decision to stay at JGR, Greg Zipadelli may become the crew chief of Logano if the teenage standout is JGR’s choice to drive the No. 20 Toyota Camry. "He's a remarkable young guy," Zipadelli said. "He's very mature for his age. That's a big question that I don't know anybody has an answer to. Experience is priceless, you know. It's one thing to do it in other divisions, but when they feed you to the sharks out here on Sunday, you're going against the best in the world that have tons of experience."
