NASCAR Officials apparently found something during post-race inspection in the rear end housing of the No. 18 driven by Kyle Busch they thought needed a closer look.
Following the conclusion of Sunday's Pep Boys Auto 500, it was announced NASCAR was taking the rear end housing of the No. 18 car to the NASCAR R&D Center in Concord, NC simply to check the measurements. However, a NASCAR spokesman explained officials "don't think it's a problem."
