For the first time in company history, Bush's Baked Beans will serve as a primary sponsor in NASCAR's top series.

Bush Brother's and Company have announced that the brand has signed an agreement with JTG Daugherty Racing in 2009. The logo will be featured on the No. 47 Toyota for the May races at Richmond and Darlington. In addition to the primary sponsorship, Bush's Baked Beans will serve as a major associate sponsor for 10 races.

“Duke and I are really excited about our partnership with Marcos Ambrose and JTG Daugherty Racing," stated Jay Bush, Brand Ambassador and star of the brand’s advertising campaign. "They are a great team, and have represented our brand very well in the past. We are excited about continuing our relationship in the Sprint Cup Series. If I can just keep Duke from selling Marcos the Secret Family Recipe, we're in for a great season."

The No. 47 Toyota Camry will be driven by Marcos Ambrose who will be in contention for the 2009 Raybestos Rookie of the Year award.

“We are thrilled to have Bush’s Baked Beans back on board in a big way in 2009," Ambrose commented." They have been a great partner for us and our other sponsors, Kingsford and Little Debbie, and we are excited to see those relationships continue as we make our move up to Cup racing. I got the opportunity to meet Jay and Duke (the famous talking canine spokesperson) this week during a photo shoot for next season’s marketing campaign. It was a blast! I can’t wait to get things going in Daytona in the spring."
