On Friday, December 12 Talladega Superspeedway officials worked hand-in-hand with the WTDR Thunder 92.7 FM staff to raise a record setting $16,500 in the twelfth annual Bake A Christmas fundraiser.

The money raised will be used to provide less fortunate children in the Talladega area with Christmas presents this year.

Kristi King, Talladega Superspeedway Senior Director for Communications and Consumer Marketing is thankful for the fan support that the Bake A Christmas fundraiser recieved.

“We are very gracious for all the fan and listener support we received this year,” said King. “To have raised this much money, especially considering the times we are in, speaks volumes to the generosity and kindness of everyone who participated. Thanks again to everyone who tuned in and helped out.”
