The stars of the NBA and the stars of the NASCAR circuit will join forces next Friday night at the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C.

Those in attendance will have the opportunity to not only see the Charlotte Bobcats take on the Phoenix Suns, but also meet some of NASCAR's biggest names, get a picture with the 2008 Sprint Cup trophy, try out the new EA NASCAR Kart Racing game for the Wii and see what it's like to be a pit crew member by taking part in the Pit Stop Challenge.

Also in attendance that night will be the newest group of young drivers from the NASCAR Drive 4 Diversity Program. For the kids in the crowd, the NASCAR Heroes Comic Book Mascots will be on hand as well.

During halftime, 2008 Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson will be honored in front of the crowd. Other NASCAR stars slated to appear on this special night are Jamie McMurray and former NASCAR champions-turned television analysts Dale Jarrett and Rusty Wallace.

One of the fastest growing spectator sports around, NASCAR is always looking to grow its fan base and events like this are excellent ways to do just that.
