Stewart-Haas Racing officials announced Wednesday the team has signed a multi-year agreement with fast-food giant Burger King. Making this his third high-dollar corporate sponsor joining his team, Tony Stewart has proven he has what it takes to be a top-notch NASCAR team owner.
"I am extremely happy to welcome Burger King Corp. to the team and really proud to be associated with such a great brand," Stewart explained. "This demonstrates another important step in getting Stewart-Haas Racing ready for the season." The agreement will have Burger King grace the hood of Stewart's No. 14 Chevrolet at the Daytona International Speedway on July 4th and Dover International Raceway on September 27th.
"This sponsorship with Tony provides the perfect scenario to get back into NASCAR. His passion, both on and off the track, resonates very well with our core Burger King customers," Russ Klein, president, global marketing, strategy and innovation added. "We've long understood the power of NASCAR, and its millions of fans, and are looking forward to an exciting season." In addition to the sponsorship of Stewart-Haas Racing, Burger King also agreed to become the exclusive quick-service restaurant of Eldora Speedway, a dirt track in Rossburg, Ohio owned by Tony Stewart.
