Drivers Discuss Super Bowl Picks
Tuesday, 27 January 2009 08:12

As the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers journey to Tampa Bay, Florida to face eachother in the Super Bowl XLII (43), some of the Roush Fenway Racing drivers announced who they picked to take the Lombardi Trophy.

“I’m going to pick Arizona by 10," stated driver of the No. 6 Cup entry David Ragan. "Arizona has been on a roll and I have a good feeling about them."

Driver of the No. 17 Ford in the Cup Series Matt Kenseth also picked the Cardinals to soar away with the win.

“I'm going with the Cardinals," said Kenseth. "Everyone is overlooking them, but I think it's going to be a close game. They may not have gotten the respect, but they have the big wins to prove they belong there and I'm looking forward to a great football game.”

"I don't know if they will win, but I'm going to be rooting for Arizona," said 2008 Camping World Truck Series Rookie of the Year Colin Braun. " They are going into the game as the underdog and I always like to root for the underdog. And since my Cowboys didn't have that great of a season I'd like to see an upset."

Driving the No. 6 Fusion in the Nationwide Series, Erik Darnell saw differently than his teammates as he picked the Steelers to triumph.

“I’m picking the Steelers." Darnell continued, "Even though the Cardinals have an explosive offense, the Steelers ‘D’ is just way too tough. They have too many weapons on the defensive side of the ball."
