Aaron's has agreed to increase its sponsorship of the No. 00 Toyota in the Cup Series. Michael Waltrip Racing has secured Aaron's to provide primary sponsorship for the entire 2009 season.
"Aaron's believes in NASCAR and Michael Waltrip Racing," said Michael Waltrip, co-owner of Michael Waltrip Racing. "We have consistently grown our relationship for the last 10 years. Now, Aaron's is taking another step and increasing its sponsorship involvement to sponsor David Reutimann and his No. 00 Toyota Camry team for the entire 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. We know times are tough right now and we are blessed to have such great partners in Aaron's, NAPA and Toyota. They are why Michael Waltrip Racing exists. We will continue to fight hard to provide them with the results and exposure they deserve. We are certainly thankful for their continued support."
David Reutimann will navigate the No. 00 Toyota through the season. In his third year of full-time competition in NASCAR's top echelon Reutimann has steadily made progress. With Aaron's agreement to expand its sponsorship, Reutimann is joyful to represent Aaron's in 2009. "For Aaron's to step up its commitment at this level really says a lot about their confidence in this program." noted Reutimann. "It means so much to me personally to have the Aaron's Dream Machine colors on the No. 00 all year and I intend to do the best I can to represent their brand. Having full sponsorship will allow this team to focus on performance and that is what we will need to get to Victory Lane." As well as sponsoring the No. 00 Cup entry, Aaron's will serve as the primary sponsor for the No. 99 Michael Waltrip Racing Nationwide entry for 10 races. Aaron's will also sponsor the No. 23 R3 Motorsports Nationwide entry for 18 races in 2009. The 2009 season will mark the 10 year anniversary of Aaron's relationship with Michael Waltrip Racing. Aaron's is thrilled to remain with the oraganization, and looks foward to a successful season. "Our experience with Michael Waltrip and his race teams over the years has proven that their programs have tremendous marketing value for Aaron's." stated Robin Loudermilk, Chief Executive Officer of Aaron Rents, Inc. "We are pleased that we can increase our involvement with Michael and David Reutimann and look forward to seeing the Aaron's Dream Machine on track all year."
