NASCAR Hall of Fame Announced Operations Manager

The NASCAR Hall of Fame announced Tuesday the addition of Steve Burrell as Operations Manager. Taking this role, Burrell will be responsible for the, "daily operating functions of the Hall of Fame, including developing polices, procedures, and a work environment that ensures exceptional customer service." Burrell will be in charge of guest services, event management, volunteer coordination, emergency procedures and security.

 

"I feel both excited and privileged to join an organization that holds itself to such high standards as the CRVA," Burrell said of his new role. "I look forward to contributing my talents in operations and risk management to this role with the NASCAR Hall of Fame."

 

 

Before joining the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Burrell spent fourteen years with Carowinds as the Loss Prevention Manager, Paladium and Campground Manager as well as Operations Manager. In addition, Burrell served on the North Carolina Amusement Advisory Committee and the Education Committee for the American Industry for Maintenance and Safety.
