Continuing its push to be one of the most fan-friendly facilities on the circuit, the Dover International Speedway has announced four-time Dover winner Jeff Gordon will appear at the Monster Mile Club prior to the May 31 Sprint Cup Series event. The all-inclusive pre-race hospitality facility offers fans exclusive entertainment, all-you-can-eat buffet and beverages and now an appearance by Jeff Gordon on race day.
The current point leader will participate in a question and answer session with fans the morning of the race. The four-time Cup Series champion had strong showings in both events at the Monster Mile in 2008, sitting on the pole in the September race and scoring top-10s both times out.
Fans taking advantage of the Monster Mile Club will not only enjoy the opportunity to meet Jeff Gordon and partake in the Q&A session, but will also have the chance to experience a track side tour, live entertainment, special gifts, a souvenir program, interactive games and more.
A ticket to the Monster Mile Club is only $99 and can be added to any ticket for the Sprint Cup race by getting in touch with the Dover International Speedway ticket office at 800-441-RACE or by visiting DoverSpeedway.com.
The Monster Mile Club opens at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 31 with a continental breakfast. Trackside tours begin at 8:30 a.m. and the hosted question and answer session with Jeff Gordon will follow later in the morning. An all-you-can-eat lunch will be served at 11 a.m. prior to the start of the 400-mile NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, scheduled to take the green flag at 2 p.m.
