helluva-goodWith the economy taking its toll on the sport of NASCAR, tracks are even starting to feel the crunch.  Despite the tough economic conditions, track officials at the Watkins Glen International Raceway announced last week their August 9th Sprint Cup Series event has been picked up by Heluva Good!

The second road course race of the 2009 season will now be called the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at the Glen.

“We truly appreciate the opportunity to work with such a well respected national brand as Heluva Good! during our NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event in August,” Craig Rust, president of Watkins Glen International explained. “From the tailgaters and camping crowd at the race to the millions watching on TV, The Glen and NASCAR are a great platform for them to showcase their brand and products to all of the race fans located both in New York State and around the country.”

“We are excited to bring the 'Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at the Glen’ to Watkins Glen International this summer,” added Scott Blake, sr. vice president of operations for Heluva Good!. “The Heluva Good! brand is built on bold flavors and personality, which complement the characteristics of NASCAR’s passionate fan base.”
