In an effort to give fans more bang for their buck this May, Lowe’s Motor Speedway has announced the creation NASCAR team fan zones. By purchasing a NASCAR team fan zone pass, Hardcore Race Fans will be able to interact with fellow fans and corporate sponsors that share the same interest in their favorite driver.
Each NASCAR team fan zone pass includes a catered meal, soft drinks, a souvenir gift bag and the chance to take part in a fan forum with appearances by participating Sprint Cup drivers.
"This is another innovative and affordable way for us to bring the fans closer to the drivers on race day," Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Lowe's Motor Speedway explained.
"Each NASCAR team fan zone will give race fans a chance to have their own driver or team pep rally long before the green flag drops. It's also a creative way to combine corporate hospitality for team sponsors with the fans that are the lifeblood of our sport."
The speedway has partnered with Hendrick Motorsports, Penske Racing, Richard Petty Motorsports, Michael Waltrip Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing and Earnhardt Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates to create the first-of-their-kind entertainment areas. Other participating NASCAR teams are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
All-inclusive NASCAR team fan zone passes including a Diamond Tower race ticket are affordably priced at $139 for the 50th running of the Coca-Cola 600. Fans who have already purchased tickets can obtain NASCAR team fan zone passes for $99 each. Pit pass upgrades are available for an additional $50.
NASCAR team fan zone passes can be obtained by calling the Lowe's Motor Speedway ticket office at 1-800-455-FANS (3267) or online at www.lowesmotorspeedway.com.
