Pedestrian Bridge Raised At Talladega Superspeedway
Tuesday, 07 April 2009 08:29

Last week, workers outside the Talladega Superspeedway completed setting a new pedestrian bridge at the track’s main entrance.

In an attempt to clear up both pedestrian and vehicle traffic, while keeping every one as safe as possible, the speedway moved the 270-foot bridge from its former location in Lincoln, Alabama.

"The new pedestrian bridge is going to be a big help during the upcoming Aaron's Dream Weekend," Rick Humphrey, president of Talladega Superspeedway explained.  "This should improve both the vehicle traffic flow coming in and out of the North Tunnel and the pedestrian traffic to and from the grandstands."

Tickets are still available for the upcoming race weekend at Talladega, April 24-26. The speedway will play host to the ARCA RE/MAX Series, the NASCAR Nationwide Series and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.  For more information or to purchase tickets, be sure to visit www.talladegasuperspeedway.com.
