Lowes Motor Speedway officials have announced that hardcore race fans will be able to purchase tickets to next month's All Star Race and the Coca-Cola 600 for only $14 beginning today, April 27, 2009, at noon. One thousand of the specially priced tickets will be on sale until they are gone.

As a result of 14 cars being involved in "The Big One" at Talledega on Sunday, Lowes Motor Speedway decided to offer a limited number of the $14 tickets. "The Big One" occurred unusually early in Sunday's 188-lap event, when several cars got together on Lap 7 while racing into Turn 3; setting off a chain reaction that involved 14 cars.

Fans can purchase tickets at this special price by visiting the Lowe's Motor Speedway ticket office or by calling 1-800-455-FANS. Fans can also log onto www.lowesmotorspeedway.com.

Tickets sold at the special rate will be limited to five per customer.
