Lowe’s Offering Food Prices You Can Afford
Thursday, 30 April 2009 07:51

lowes-motor-speedwayYour local fast-food chain has one and now the Lowe’s Motor Speedway has introduced one in an effort to keep money in the pockets of fans attending this May’s race weeks. In a continued effort to cut the cost associated with attending a NASCAR race, Lowe’s Motor Speedway has announced a new 99-Cents Value Menu that will be introduced with the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race weekend.

After working closely with Levy Restaurants, Lowe’s Motor Speedway officials have designated five concession stands around the speedway that will serve the new value menu. Included on the affordable menu are items such as a hot dog, hamburger slider, uncrustable peanut butter and jelly sandwich, potato chips and popcorn. Along with these items, fans will also be able to purchase twelve hot dogs for $10 and ten hamburgers for only $8.

“This kind of savings at the concession stand with so many choices is unprecedented at present-day NASCAR tracks,” Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Lowe’s Motor Speedway pointed out.

“Together with our food partner Levy Restaurants, we’ve developed a great menu with five popular items priced under $1. This is just another way we can help our fans save money while attending a NASCAR race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.”

In addition to the new value menu items, Levy is also introducing new “State Fair” creations such as deep fried grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato dipping sauce, golden fried honey bun topped with powdered sugar and a deep fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

This new affordable menu is just one of the many ways Lowe’s Motor Speedway is helping reduce the amount of money needed for a good time at a race. Track officials worked closely with the regional visitor’s bureaus and hotels to cut room rates and alleviate the dreaded minimum stay requirement at more than ninety hotels located within an hour of the 1.5-mile facility.

Since all Hardcore Race Fans know souvenirs are a must, LMS has also introduced a $20 deal that includes a t-shirt and hat (normally a $48 value) and the Coca-Cola 600 Family Four-Pack which includes four tickets, four hot dogs and four Coke products for just $39.75 per person.
