WAM Brings Drivers To The Fans

brad-keselowskiWith the NASCAR circuit in Race Country U.S.A. for the week, the Women’s Auxiliary of Motorsports (WAM) is bringing some of the sport’s stars to Hardcore Race Fans in the area. On Tuesday, May 19th the WAM will host the annual NASCAR Speedpark Charity Event at the Concord Mills Mall from 2:30-7pm E.T.

 

The annual event will feature autograph sessions throughout the day, as well as a memorabilia auction. Held at the NASCAR Speedpark, fans will be able to enjoy a day with the family, meet some of racing’s best and maybe take a turn around the track on one of the facilities numerous go-kart tracks.

 

There will be three different autograph sessions held throughout the day; the first from 3:30-4:15pm, the second from 4:15-5:00pm and the final from 5:00-5:45pm. Tickets for the sessions are $15, or fans are able to purchase tickets for all three for only $40.

 

david-reutimannBidding for the memorabilia auction is scheduled to begin at 2:30pm and fans will be able to make a bid up to 6:30pm. The items will be awarded to the winning parties at 7pm, ending the day’s event. All proceeds from the day’s events will benefit the Women’s Auxiliary of Motorsports.

 

The WAM’s mission is to, “enrich the lives of women, children and families through educational and wellness programs. In addition, WAM helps support organizations with likeminded missions and purposes.”
