Braun Racing has announced that the organization signed Marc Davis for six races in the NASCAR Nationwide Series beginning this weekend at Dover International Speedway.

Davis will climb behind the wheel of the No. 10, and sponsorship will be provided by WHUR-FM Radio (96.3) and The Word Network.

Davis made his NASCAR debut last season in the Camping World Truck Series at Gateway International Raceway driving the No. 81 Randy Moss Motorsports entry. The young driver was able to start the event in 12th, and assemble an impressive 16th place effort.

Since his debut in the top ranks of the sport, Davis has participated in six races in the Nationwide Series. His best finish of 23rd came in his first Nationwide start in 2008 at Memphis Motorsports Park driving the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota.

Davis has competed in two races thus far in the 2009 Nationwide Series season at Bristol Motor Speedway and Richmond International Raceway driving under his own Marc Davis Motorsports, collecting finishes of 27th and 29th respectively.
