Concluding the practice sessions for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Infineon Raceway, AJ Allmendinger took his No. 44 Best Buy Dodge to the top of the charts with a lap of 77.428 seconds at a top speed of 92.525 miles per hour.

Ron Fellows brought the No. 9 Phoenix Racing machine to the high side of the boards in the final practice session with results good enough for second. Maneuvering the Miccousukee Indian Gaming & Resort Chevrolet around the road course with a best lap of 77.465 seconds and a top speed of 92.481 miles per hour, Fellows displayed the side that Hardcore Race Fans witnessed at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in 2008 when he collected the victory for the No. 5 JR Motorsports Nationwide Series team.

Robby Gordon, Juan Pablo Montoya and Kasey Kahne rounded out the top-5 for Saturday’s final practice session.

Pole sitter Brian Vickers managed to place his No. 83 Toyota to a 11th place effort, and five-time winner at Sonoma Jeff Gordon finished the session in the 20th position.
