Atlanta Motor Speedway officials have been working to make it easier for hardcore race fans to stay in touch with the fast track south of Atlanta through social networking sites Facebook and Twitter. Hardcore race fans can keep up with the latest news from Atlanta Motor Speedway, access photo and video galleries in addition to opportunities to win contests. Information on how to win each contest will be available on Atlanta Motor Speedway's Facebook and Twitter pages.
"At Atlanta Motor Speedway, we want to do all that we can to keep fans plugged into what is going on at the track, from ticket specials and information about upcoming race weekends to other events going on throughout the year," said Atlanta Motor Speedway president Ed Clark. "Fans can get an inside view into what's going on at the track simply by keeping up with us online. We're also looking forward to passing up-to-the-minute information along to fans during the Pep Boys Auto 500 race weekend through Facebook and Twitter." The first online contest will be held July 21 with a guided pre-race garage tour on the day of the Pep Boys Auto 500 being given away.
