NASCAR and Pocono Raceway officials were forced to postpone the Pennsylvania 500 Sprint Cup Series race that was set to start at 2 p.m. today due to rain. The race has been rescheduled for Monday, August 3 at 12:00 noon ET.

Qualifying for the Pennsylvania 500 was rained out on Friday with the lineup set by owners points according to NASCAR rules. Points leader Tony Stewart would have started from the pole but will start from the rear of the field in a back up car after crashing his primary car in practice on Saturday.

Stewart has a 192 point lead over Jimmie Johnson going in to tomorrow's Pennsylvania 500.
