The title sponsor of this weekend’s racing events at Michigan International Speedway will also be the primary sponsor on John Andretti’s No. 34 Chevy in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

“I’m excited to have the Carfax brand on-board for the Carfax 400 Sprint Cup race and feel the team is primed for some real up front excitement,” Andretti said. “Carfax offers a great service for customers and we want that same service represented on-track as well.”

Carfax is a service for car-buyers which allows them to see the history of a vehicle using the car’s vehicle identification number. This will be the first time that Carfax has been the primary sponsor on Andretti’s Front Row Motorsports ride.

“We’re proud to support John Andretti and the No. 34 Carfax Chevrolet for the Carfax 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at MIS,” Larry Gamache, communications director at Carfax, said. “To be part of the excitement and anticipation for the first partnership with the Andretti name in racing is a special experience.”

In addition to his NASCAR career, Andretti has history in CART, IRL and NHRA. This will be his 23rd start at Michigan International Speedway; his best finish at the track is 4th.
