brad-keselowskiPenske Racing and Brad Keselowski have finally inked a deal for the 2010 season.

With rumors running rampant the past few weeks regarding this situation, it is no surprise that the announcement was made today of Keselowski’s move to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in the No. 12 Dodge for Penske Racing from his current NASCAR Nationwide Series ride with JR Motorsports.

"We are very excited to welcome Brad (Keselowski) to the Penske Racing family," said team owner Roger Penske. "Brad has shown terrific success on track the past several years and has quickly established himself as one of the top young stars in racing. He comes from an impressive family background in motorsports. He is a proven winner and a welcome addition to our team."

In addition to his new Sprint Cup Series ride, Keselowski will also be running the full Nationwide schedule next year in hopes of winning the points championship. He currently sits third in the Nationwide point standings and has racked up three wins so far this year.roger-penske

In the Sprint Cup Series, Keselowski has already earned his first win after taking the checkers at Talladega in April which will give him a head start for next year in his new ride.

"Penske Racing is one of the top teams in all of motorsports and I am honored to join Roger Penske's organization and compete for wins with his Cup and Nationwide Series teams," said Keselowski. "This is a great opportunity for me to continue competing in the Nationwide Series and to run my first full season in the Cup Series with a strong and experienced team."

The future for the current driver of the No.12, David Stremme, remains unclear.
