Kyle Busch and Mark Martin lead the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in most races won this season. Both drivers have gone to Victory Lane four times.

However, Martin made the Chase for the Sprint Cup and now sits atop the series point standings while Busch failed to secure a Chase berth by a mere eight points.

Brian Vickers finished two positions behind Busch in the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 at Richmond International Raceway but was still able to hold on to the final Chase position.

This is the first Chase Busch has missed since his rookie season back in 2005. In fact, at this time last year Busch was sitting pretty on the top of the standings with 5080 points after going to Victory Lane 8 times during the regular season.
