zz-topTexas Motor Speedway officials have announced that ZZ Top will perform a one hour concert during pre-race activities just prior to the Dickies 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, November 8, 2009.

“This is unquestionably the biggest name act we will ever have for one of our prerace shows,” Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage said. “ZZ Top is celebrating their 40th anniversary and has played for millions of people, but this could well be the largest single crowd they will ever play for in concert.
