lowes-motor-speedwayLowe's Motor Speedway officials have created a Fan Guide to Fun for the NASCAR Banking 500 Week that provides hardcore race fans information on Race week driver appearances, concerts, sponsor displays, pre-race infield activities and more.

"We continually strive to go above and beyond for our fans," said Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Lowe's Motor Speedway. "We've Implemented a number of Fans First initiatives over the past year, but this is one of my favorites. We've compiled information on all the activities at the track and at various race team shops in the area. It's an easy-to-read guide that will help our fans plan their trip to the heart of NASCAR country at Lowe's Motor Speedway. We want our fans to have the best experience possible when they attend the NASCAR Banking 500, and our Fan Guide to Fun will help them make the most of their time."

Speedway officials have introduced several Fans First initiatives programs to benefit hardcore race fans attending the NASCAR Banking 500 only from Bank of America with interest-free payment plans, reduced hotel room rates and a special 99-Cents Value Menu among the offerings.

LMS will celebrate homecoming, NASCAR style, by crowning one lucky fan as official Homecoming Queen for the NASCAR Banking 500. The speedway has partnered with WKKT FM, 96.9 The Kat, a Charlotte, North Carolina radio station to hold an online contest to select the Homecoming Queen who will wear the crown. The Homecoming Queen will also receive a VIP race package and participate in pre-race ceremonies. Women are encouraged to visit www.lowesmotorspeedway.com for information on how to register for the contest.

Track officials also recently announced they will randomly choose hardcore race fans attending Bo jangles Pole Night on Thursday, October 15 to wave the green flag during qualifying. Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m.
