Clint Bowyer has been voted to wear the spooky Count Chocula firesuit.  Earlier this year fans cast tens of thousands of votes for which spooky firesuit the Kansas bread native would wear for October’s Lowes race.

Count Chocula was the winner and now Clint Bowyers attire for the NASCAR Banking 500.  Clint’s No. 33 Chevy will wear a special black and purple Scary Fast Count Chocula paint scheme that features all three monster characters. 

“I’m happy that I’ll be wearing the Count Chocula firesuit because that’s the suit I voted for,” said Bowyer.  “It’s a pretty cool looking design and is appropriate for the final night race of the 2009 season.  Hopefully, we’ll be able to scare some of the other drivers out of the way and pick up the win.”

“We’re excited to see Clint Bowyer make the transformation into ‘Count’ Bowyer at Charlotte,” said Jacob Berning, Marketing Manager on General Mills Monster’s cereals.  “Thank you to all the fans who voted on the firesuit designs.”

The three monsters, Count Chocula, Franken Berry, and Boo Berry will make appearances at Lowe’s Motor Speedway the entire race weekend.  Count Chocula is to accompany Clint Bowyer thru driver introductions for the NASCAR Banking 500.

The first 333 fans who buy $33 worth of Cheerios Racing merchandise from Bowyer’s at-track merchandise hauler at LMS this weekend will be given a box of Bowyer and Childress-signed Monsters cereal.
