On Tuesday, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star Carl Edwards went down to Miami, FL to help Homestead-Miami Speedway promote the upcoming Ford Championship weekend for NASCAR’s top three divisions.
Edwards went on a Duck Tour ride and, in addition to the interviews and photo ops, he did one of his trademark back flips off the boat into the warm Florida waters.
The day of fun allowed Edwards to relax a little from the strain of the Chase for the Sprint Cup in which he is currently 10th.
On Sunday, he will have the chance to make up some ground in the point standings during the Sprint Cup Series TUMS Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway.
