Due to inclement weather, NASCAR practice sessions at Martinsville Speedway for the Camping World Truck Series and Sprint Cup Series, with original start times of 10am ET and 11:30am ET respectively, have been postponed.
The sessions will begin once track drying has been completed; various start times are being reported but so far there has been no official word from NASCAR. According to Weather.com, the precipitation percentage fluctuates throughout the day for Martinsville, VA varying from a high of 45% around 2pm to a low of the current 20% later this afternoon. Tomorrow the percentage remains at a constant 60% until 2pm when it drops to 40% and continues dropping which may cause some problems for the Truck Series Kroger 200 which is scheduled to begin at noon. Luckily, Sunday looks to be sunny with a very low chance of rain for the Sprint Cup Series TUMS Fast Relief 500. The NASCAR Nationwide Series may also have good weather luck as the forecast for Memphis, TN looks sunny and clear for their schedule this weekend. MORE NASCAR NEWS
