In addition to the lightning fast speeds of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races, hardcore race fans in attendance this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway are in for an extra special treat, or trick.
Talladega Superspeedway has announced a series of special events over the Halloween weekend on top of the regular race weekend excitement called HALLOW-DEGA.
Activities on October 31st will include a haunted maze, a fortune teller, a hall of mirrors, the SPEED Scream Contest on the SPEED stage, the Sprint Costume Contest in the Sprint display, a wax hands interactive display and a pumpkin seed spitting contest. Halloween characters will also be roaming through the display area throughout the day. “Our plans are coming together for the World’s Largest Halloween Party,” Talladega Superspeedway President Rick Humphrey said. “Best of all, there will be something for everyone. We have activities for the kids and parents too.” More activities will be announced as the weekend nears so if you are a hardcore race fan who is planning to attend, visit www.talladegasuperspeedway.com for updates on new activities and their locations at the track.
