Yesterday at the Catawba County Clerk of Court Office in North Carolina, Lisa Mayfield, the estranged stepmother of NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of second-degree trespassing.
The four misdemeanor charges of simple assault were dismissed. The charges came from an incident at Jeremy Mayfield’s Catawba County home in mid-August when Mayfield claimed that his stepmother assaulted the workers in his home after trespassing on his property.
This incident was one of many that have occurred since Jeremy Mayfield’s suspension from NASCAR after he failed a random drug test. MORE NASCAR NEWS
