clint-bowyerNASCAR driver Clint Bowyer and Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Brandon Webb will join forces Thursday at Octane, the luxury lounge at Phoenix International Raceway, to raise funds for two children’s charities.

The event, named “Offspeed”, will benefit both the new Victory Junction Gang Camp in Kansas City and Webb’s K Foundation.

“We're really excited to be partnering with Clint and PIR,” Webb said. “'Offspeed' is going to be a great event and its proceeds will help thousands of sick children in both Phoenix and Kansas City.”

Webb created his foundation with his wife in 2005 to help ill children in the Phoenix area.
