The Entrepreneurial & Business Excellence Hall of Fame recently recognized the Michigan International Speedway due to the impact the track makes on Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan each year.
Michigan International Speedway president Roger Curtis accepted the Business Excellence Award on behalf of the speedway at a ceremony last Thursday evening.
"This is a very special award and we are honored to have received it," Curtis said. "Even though we are located in Michigan, the impact we make on the Toledo and Northwest Ohio area is immeasurable. However, it goes both ways because many of our race fans come from the same Northwest Ohio area and we appreciate all the support we receive from them each and every year." The Entrepreneurial & Business Excellence Hall of Fame was created to encourage, promote, and recognize outstanding entrepreneurship, family business and business excellence. The program was formed to foster and honor entrepreneurial success and business innovation and excellence in the region. The EBE Hall of Fame fosters and strengthens the entrepreneurial spirit in the region, and the annual awards program recognizes and honors some of the region's most outstanding entrepreneurs and business leaders.
