The final races of the 2009 NASCAR season begin tomorrow with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Ron Hornaday clinched the Truck Series title last weekend at Phoenix International Raceway so the focus this weekend will be on the owner’s points championship. Kevin Harvick Inc. and Billy Ballew Motorsports are locked in a tight race for the title.

After losing ground to Carl Edwards in the Nationwide Series standings last weekend, Kyle Busch is looking to clinch his first NASCAR title during Saturday’s Ford 300. He currently holds a 190-point lead over Edwards which was only five points shy of earning the title a week early.

Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series Ford 400 will determine whether Jimmie Johnson earns his 4th consecutive title, or if Mark Martin gets his first championship after finishing 2nd in points four times over his career, or if Jeff Gordon will get a 5th Sprint Cup putting him only two titles shy of Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt.
