 The 13th Annual Bake A Christmas radio auction and fundraiser date has been set for Friday, December 11th.
Talladega Superspeedway and WTDR Thunder 92.7FM will raise funds to fulfill Christmas wishes for underprivileged children.
The radio auction which will feature NASCAR items including race tickets, apparel, and autographed merchandise paired with baked goods will begin at 7am local time that day and end at 6pm that evening. The auction is not only for local listeners, nationwide bidders can call listen to the broadcast via www.wtdrthunder.com and place bids by calling 1-800-709-9270. Last year’s event brought in a record $16,500. Some of the specific items up for auction will be: - Tickets to the 2010 Aaron’s 499 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race
- Tickets to the 2010 Aaron’s 312 NASCAR Nationwide Series race
- Tickets to the 2010 ARCA Racing Series 250 .
- Cold Garage/Pit Passes for the Aaron’s Dream Weekend, April 23-25, 2010
- Talladega Superspeedway hat autographed by Kurt Busch
- Talladega Superspeedway hat autographed by Kyle Busch
- Checkered flag from the 2009 Mountain Dew 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, autographed by all drivers who competed in the event
