JR Motorsports has two separate claims, number 11816 and 23362, on record according to Motors Liquidation Co.’s claim register on the company’s website. The claims, filed October 19th and November 12th, both ask for $198,000. One claims “sponsorship per contract” while the other states only “sponsorship contract” and both appear to be signed by Kelley Earnhardt Elledge.

Auto Club Speedway, under the company name of The California Speedway Corp., filed a claim for $45,500 on November 12th. Claim number 23266 sites “hospitality facility license entered into August 2006” as the basis for the claim.

Lawrence W. Bigus, attorney for Daytona International Speedway, LLC and Richmond International Raceway, LLC, filed claims 23268 and 23267, respectively, for the tracks on November 12th. Daytona’s claim is for $651,018.75 for “amendment to hospitality facility license entered into on October 3, 2006” while Richmond’s requests $65,700 for “hospitality facility agreement entered into in 2007”.

According to the Motors Liquidation Co. website, nearly 30,000 claims have been filed so far.
