The pit crew on NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Greg Biffle’s No. 16 3M Ford received a $100,000 bonus and Tissot watches during yesterday’s Myers Brothers Awards at The Venetian Showroom in the Venetian Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
The team earned the season-long Tissot Pit Road Precision Award championship for their extraordinary effort and success on pit road throughout the 2009 season. Crew chief Greg Erwin headed the team which includes pit crew coach Andy Ward, front-tire changer Todd Zeigler, front-tire carrier Collin Pasi, rear-tire changer Kyle Power, rear-tire carrier Kevin McDowell, jackman Rodney Fetters, gasman Billy Manchester, catch can man Ryan Dextraze and windshield man Chris Elliott. Biffle, and the No. 16 team, finished 7th in the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point standings. MORE NASCAR NEWS
